  • Is Your Roof Ready for the Rest of Hurricane Season?

    Storm Prep

Peak hurricane season runs through mid-October, and even here in metro Atlanta we feel it — usually not in wind speed, but in days of heavy, sideways rain when a tropical system moves through Georgia. That kind of rain finds every weak spot on a roof: a lifted shingle tab, a gap in flashing, or gutters packed with summer debris that send water backing up under the roofline instead of away from your house.

Before the next system rolls through, walk your yard and look up. Check for shingles that look curled or lifted, clear the gutters, and trim back any branches hanging over the roof. We offer free storm inspections and handle the insurance side if there is real damage, so there is no reason to guess.

If a leak already started during a summer storm, get it looked at now — a small leak in a light rain turns into a real problem in a heavy one.
