  • Why Fall Is the Best Time to Replace Your Roof

    Roof Replacement

Right now, late September through November, is honestly one of the best windows all year to get a roof replaced here in Georgia. Asphalt shingles need moderate temps to seal properly. Too hot in July and August and they go soft underfoot, easy to scuff during install. Too cold in January and that adhesive strip won’t bond right, which can leave you with lifted shingles come spring.

There’s a scheduling upside too. Crews get slammed right after hail season hits and again right before winter, so booking now usually means a faster start and less time with a tarp on your roof.

If storm damage from earlier this year is still sitting on the back burner, don’t let it ride into winter, cold and wet months are exactly when small problems turn into ceiling stains.
